Marsden Point, New Zealand, Tops new BIMCO terminal vetting report

Marsden Point, New Zealand came out as the highest rated bulk terminal in BIMCOs Terminal Vetting Scheme. With 161 ships from 132 companies involved in the scheme, the report now covers 419 terminals globally. Just under 95% of the reports were rated average or better, which gave an average rating of 3.6 (out of five), suggesting positive trends for the future.

Polish Szczecin is top bulk terminal in new BIMCO report

The best performing port, in BIMCO’s Dry Bulk Terminals Vetting Report 2018, is Szczecin in Poland. The report collected input from 144 ships covering 381 terminals. A total of 97% of the reports were rated as average or better, which gave an average rating of 3.6 (out of five). The result is a marginal better than last year’s results.
