Blank Back Form of Non-Negotiable Liner Waybill 2016

The Blank Back Form of Non-Negotiable Liner Waybill is a waybill with no pre-printed terms and conditions on its backside. Instead, the relationship between the carrier and the shipper should be governed by the carrier’s standard conditions of carriage. If the carrier does not have any standard conditions of carriage, then this waybill will be subject to the terms and conditions of the CONLINEBILL liner bill of lading which was in force on the date when the Blank Back Form of Non-Negotiable Liner Waybill was issued. The latest edition of this waybill is the Blank Back Form of Non-Negotiable Liner Waybill 2016. This amended edition includes an updated layout and signature box. Shipping companies encouraged to use crew change form

BIMCO is joining the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) in a call to encourage shipping companies or masters to fill in a Crew Change Report Form launched by ICS and thereby help encouraging Governments to facilitate crew change throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

First global standard for ship hull cleaning essential for marine ecosystems

BIMCO, the world’s largest shipping association, has moved a step closer to finishing a global set of guidelines needed to protect the marine environment from invasive species and reduce CO2 emissions. Currently, there is no common global standard for cleaning ships’ hulls to avoid transferring invasive aquatic species, nor for the potentially damaging debris washed off in the process.

First draft gas tanker voyage charter party well underway

A joint project from BIMCO and the Association of Ship Brokers & Agents (U.S.A.), Inc. (ASBA) to develop a standard gas tanker voyage charter party took a big leap forward at a subcommittee meeting on 5-6 September. The aim of the project is to develop a standard form dedicated to the chartering of tankers for LPG, anhydrous ammonia and chemical gases based on the widely used tanker charter party, ASBATANKVOY.
