18 April 2023Bauxite cargoes are problematic cargoes capable of experiencing severe liquefaction which unknown at that time, was actually dynamic separation, a phenomenon discovered based on the outcome of the work of the Global Bauxite Working Group. These cargoes will experience dynamic separation, if they are not carried in accordance with the requirements of the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes ( IMSBC) Code.
