BIMCO’s Documentary Committee has adopted a standard electronic signature clause that allows parties to safely use electronic signatures in their contractual arrangements.
The purpose of the Electronic Signature Clause 2021 is to enable the parties to a contract to sign the contract, and any documents to be signed in connection with it, electronically. The clause can be used in any type of contract.
The session will provide you with an insight to BIMCO’s world of standard contracts of clauses. This will all be illustrated through a live example of a clause that BIMCO published for industry use last year.
