Description
Has a nominal iron content of 57%.  Bulk density: 2,740 - 2,820 kg/m3 Non-IMSBC Code information: extracted from mineral sand deposits by gravity and magnetic separation. No chemical or mechanical transformation occurs during mining or the loading process and no change to its natural particle size. Colour: black. Uses: steel making raw material. Odourless. Colour: Black.

Ironsand; Taharoa Ironsand; Iron Titanite, Iron Titanium oxide, Titania Ferro Magnetite.
