Description

Mandatory application of this schedule - applies only to certain particle size distribution criteria . Please see below section " IMO classification" for the criteria. 

 

 

This cargo is multi-coloured, but usually brown to black in colour. Colour and texture varies due to variations of the manganese and gangue minerals present. A heavy cargo with moisture content of up to 15% by weight.  Bulk density: 1,450 - 3,200 kg/m3.

 

Non-IMSBC Code information: used as primary feed to sintering plant for agglomeration. This cargo is the crushed and screened product of manganese or mining, originating from mining a natural ore body.
