BIMCO’s 2021 holiday information available online for members

Overview

The BIMCO holiday information for 2021 is now available online, offering increased focus on local and regional holidays, increased transparency and better reliability.

While both members and non-members will have to pay for the printed BIMCO Holiday Calendar, members get a significant discount. In addition, BIMCO offers continuously updated holiday information on our website as a complementary benefit exclusive to members. This does not only apply to updating the Islamic holidays, which in most cases are determined by the Hijri Moon calendar, but also for cases when governments occasionally declare holidays with little or no notice.

In line with the BIMCO mission to safeguard and add value to our members’ businesses, the information we provide on holidays has been further supported by legal items and public announcements. Furthermore, the data has been partially restructured when applicable to better reflect the applicable legislation with extended local and regional coverage.

The 2021 holiday information is now readily available on the BIMCO website, and we welcome members to investigate the information in due preparation for the coming year.

Should there be any need for clarification, please contact BIMCO Maritime Information on all matters related to shipping holidays.
