This cargo is a concentrate steam resulting from the processing of heavy mineral sands. This schedule covers concentrates of sands containing natural or depleted uranium and thorium,including metals, mixtures and compounds. They are characterised by their heavy bulk density and fine grain size. Bulk density (kg/m3): 2,200 - 3,225. Non-IMSBC Code information: it is used as a feedstock for separation into constituent minerals for end use in engineering and technical applications.
