BIMCO and the Global Shippers Forum (GSF) are working together to promote the benefits of using their jointly published SERVICECON “readymade” service contract.
Carriage Contracts, Liabilities and Cargo Claims Masterclass is a series of 10 online sessions, each lasting 60-90 minutes. During the masterclass, the speakers will examine specific issues arising when goods are damaged, lost or delayed during transit.
The Novation Agreement for Shipbuilding Contracts is an agreement between the parties to novate the shipbuilding contract from the original buyers to the new buyers on terms set out in the agreement. BIMCO has published two new contracts to assist parties when depositing money in a sale and purchase transaction and as security for a claim in a dispute.
BIMCO’s Documentary Committee adopted two new contracts and two clauses at its meeting on 29 November. The two clauses will be published immediately. The contracts will be published in early January.
