Monoammonium phosphate (M.A.P)

Description
Comes in the form of brownish-grey granules. Odourless or with slight ammonia/pungent  (non-IMSBC Code information).  Very dusty and hygroscopic in nature (i.e., taking and retaining moisture quickly).Bulk density: 826 -1,000 kg/m3. Non-IMSBC Code information - fertiliser made for use on grain and oilseed crops.  Other uses: flameproofing agent, manufacturing of yeast, vinegar, yeast foods and bread improvers. 
Trade Names (Synonyms)
MAP- ammonium acid phosphate-ammonium biphosphate - ammonium dihydrogen phosphate - ammonium phosphate, primary - ammonium phosphate, monobasic.
