Meet Jessica

Jessica Maitra is a lawyer at international law firm Clyde & Co and previously with Eversheds LLP. Jessica regularly advises owners and charterers on carriage of goods by sea and charter party claims. She deals with all types of ships and cargoes, but has particular experience of tanker and liquid cargo claims. Her contentious practice areas include carriage of goods by sea, bills of lading, charter parties, conflicts of laws, jurisdiction, enforcement, international contracts and sale of goods.
