This page gives an overview of the APIs available from BIMCO. These cover SmartCon, Ship PI and the BIMCO Holiday Calendar. Each API section includes a brief explanation of what it does, who can access it and a link to the relevant technical documentation.
These APIs are not publicly available. Access varies by API and depends on whether you are a BIMCO member, your subscription level or if your organisation has an approved relationship with BIMCO. Some usage, such as creating contracts through SmartCon, will incur standard platform charges.

Overview
Provides access to contract templates, clause libraries, contract creation and management features within the SmartCon platform.
Who can access it
- Premium SmartCon subscribers
- Approved third parties working with shared SmartCon clients
Restrictions
- Calls to the CreateContractFromTemplate endpoint carry the same cost as creating a contract in the SmartCon platform
- Calls to the ReadRecap API comes at a charge of EUR 1,00 per call
- Access subject to existing SmartCon terms

Enables automated data management; submission of data and extraction of benchmarking data and analytics from the SHIP PI platform.
