Join us in the lovely garden of BIMCO House from 15:30 to celebrate our 120th anniversary.
It's a significant milestone made possible by the commitment of our valued members and partners. We're looking forward to a fabulous afternoon of celebration, good food, drinks and networking with you all!
Come and connect with industry colleagues, and meet BIMCO board members and staff.
Please share the invitation with your colleagues, but do sign up individually so we know how many people to expect.
The party begins at 15:30 with arrival through the main entrance at the front of BIMCO House for registration. In the garden, the newly-elected BIMCO Presidential Trio, along with the Secretary General, will be ready to welcome you.
A drinks reception will kick off proceedings with champagne toasts and cake cutting at around 16:30 followed by a performance by Pigegarden (Danish Girls’ Marching Band) at approximately 17:30. BIMCO’s new President will hold a short speech at 18:00. From 18:30-20:00, chefs will be on hand to serve you from the grills around the garden, with a vegetarian option available. From 20:00, the ice cream van will be open. The evening will conclude at 22:00 with goodie bags for all.
For those not arriving at BIMCO House by taxi, parking is available in the BIMCO car park and on the street. Those arriving by train have two alternatives: either to take the train to Bagsværd then a 15-minute walk or the train to Lyngby then a 25-minute walk.
With regard to dress code, there are two important things to remember: Danish evenings can be chilly so please bring a jacket, and suitable shoes are recommended as the event takes place mainly on the grass lawn. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors, and there will be umbrellas available for all.
