To bring bold leadership and ambitious aims to address the often overlooked but significant threat to marine biodiversity of ocean noise, the Governments of Panama and Canada will announce their joint commitment to co-lead the new High Ambition Coalition for a Quiet Ocean (Coalition).
The Coalition’s foundation is a Declaration that sets out the aims and ambitions of the Coalition. The event will feature a “signing” of the Declaration by high-level country leaders, along with the formal announcement of the launch of the Coalition. BIMCO will provide an industry view during the session and is pleased to co-sponsor this event.
