Recording of Agency Appointment webinar now available
Overview
On 20 February 2017, BIMCO and FONASBA broadcasted a webinar to discuss the recently published Agency Appointment Agreement.
The webinar featured a panel of three members of the team involved in the development of the new form and was hosted by Pernille Kærvad Jacobsen, Manager, Contracts & Clauses at BIMCO:
- John Foord - FONASBA President
- Han van Blanken - BIMCO Documentary Committee member
- Andrew Jamieson – ITIC
During the broadcast, viewers were introduced to the new agency appointment agreement, and the panel explained the reasons for developing the agreement and responded to participants’ questions about the form.
FONASBA General Manager, Jonathan Williams, also gave an overview of the FONASBA Quality Standard Certification scheme for ship agents.
