Finding our sea legs in green methanol supply
Green methanol, the new but long-known chemical, is gaining increasing attention from the maritime industry as fuel. There are many discussions of market analysis based on numbers, predictions, simulations as well as technical solutions and innovations. With this presentation, we too a step back and looked at the fundamental principles of green methanol supply for the maritime industry, from both rational (economical) and emotional (social) perspectives. The presentation l showcased aspects behind the scenes that drive and impact the demand, such as motives, hesitations, uncertainties, policies, economics, technologies, etc. Then the fundamental but most complex question from the supply side: the definition of GREEN was discussed. Last but not least, the webinar looked at Chinese green methanol projects to present CM Energy Tech’s strategy in navigating the way forward.
