With more than 40 years of experience spanning both the maritime and shipping industries, Makoto brings extensive international expertise to the role. Since beginning his career at a Japanese trading house in 1983, he has worked across shipbuilding, ship machinery and shipping, gaining valuable insight from roles in Japan, China and Europe.
