Costas is also proud to be a leader in the Cyprus maritime industry, despite the company losing its premises in Famagusta, Kyrenia and Nicosia Airport during the 1974 conflict which divided the island into Greek and Turkish areas.
Limassol then became the island's primary port, and Hull Blyth Araouzos Ltd relocated its headquarters there. Despite these challenges, the company has remained at the forefront of the shipping industry, continuously adapting and expanding its services.

Costas’ father John Economou recently retired, and in the picture he can be seen receiving our commemorative plaque to mark the company’s membership milestone.
