Issues raised and discussed at the 6th meeting of the BIMCO Dry Bulk Cargo network are now completed, compiled in the form of a FAQ, and are ready to be shared.
The network held its 2nd meeting of the year for 2025 on 22nd May and this is 6th meeting since it was launched in 2024.
Further to our news article on 26 May 2025 reporting on the outcome of the meeting dealing with the loading of scrap metal and loading of cargoes having like grain, we are pleased to inform that the FAQ is ready now for viewing.

The next online meeting which will be the 7th meeting is on Thursday 28 August 2025 at 07:00-08.30 UTC and the topics voted by the members to be dealt with at this first meeting are as follows:
- Types of cargoes exempted from CO2 fittings
- Charcoal shipments in bulk or bags – clarification on new rules from 1 January 2025 (voluntary).
