Jakob P. Larsen: Maritime security and cyber security

Jakob P. Larsen is BIMCO’s leading voice on maritime security. He speaks on all maritime security matters, including piracy, mass migration, cyber security and war risks.

He joined BIMCO in his current position in 2019. He has a long career within the field, most recently as Global Security and Marine QA Manager at container giant Maersk.

Jakob P. Larsen also has 15 years of experience with the Royal Danish Navy with final rank as Commander, where he, among other things, served as staff operations officer in a NATO naval task force and head of section in the Danish Ministry of Defence.
