Are you passionate about shipping and training? Join the BIMCO Training Team!
BIMCO Training is growing, and we are looking for a new colleague who is energised by the maritime industry and enjoys being part of a team which creates learning experiences that make a real impact.
You will become part of a small diverse yet closely knit team based in Bagsværd. Together, you will design, develop and deliver training that supports maritime professionals in navigating commercial and contractual challenges. To succeed in this role, you must be collaborative, quality-focused and comfortable engaging with industry peers, as your core mission is to turn complex maritime topics into clear, relevant and impactful learning — delivered both in person and online. Our training is highly valued by our members and participants, who rely on BIMCO to strengthen their knowledge and capability across a wide range of contractual and commercial subjects.
This is a role where ideas turn into action and learning meets real-world impact. Your responsibilities will include:
- Travelling internationally to facilitate and support BIMCO courses, seminars and masterclasses – and host courses online
- Designing and developing training programmes – from concept and structure to preparation of speaker presentations and participant materials, welcome emails, etc
- Organising and coordinating course delivery together with internal colleagues and external speakers
- Working collaboratively within a team that values professionalism, creativity and mutual support
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Have at least a few years’ experience within the maritime industry and a good understanding of the commercial and contractual relationships between key stakeholders
- Are willing to travel globally approximately 25-30 days per year
- Can translate commercial and contractual topics into clear, practical learning for a wide range of audiences working in shipping
- Are comfortable working with many stakeholders and maintaining a high level of quality
- Appreciate working in a team culture where everyone helps each other succeed
- Experience in training, education or content development is an advantage but curiosity, drive and the right mindset matter just as much.
What we offer
- A meaningful role contributing to capacity building across the shipping industry
- A positive, international working environment with a friendly and supportive team
- Opportunities to shape BIMCO’s training portfolio and grow professionally
- A workplace where quality, integrity and collaboration are core values
