The BIMCO Liquid Cargo database is intended for use by for shore-side staff and to some extent for newcomers to the tanker trade and should only be used as a reference tool providing brief information regarding the more than 360 of the commonly transported liquid cargoes including Cyclohexanone.

Reacts with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, amines and alkalis.
Remarks:
Due to the properties of this cargo, it can be difficult to remove cargo residues absorbed and entrained in the coating. Strong odour.
Cyclohexanone is not recommended as prior cargo for sensitive cargoes.

Organic synthesis; paint and varnish removers; degreasing of metals; polishes; lubricating oil additive; solvent for cellulosics; natural and synthetic resins, waxes, fats, etc.
