Overview

The Charter Party Workshop (Masterclass) Online is a series of 10 online sessions and combines a range of lecturers on voyage and time chartering with sessions on related day-to-day issues and troubleshooting.

What will you learn?

Some of the topics you will learn:

  • How does it all fit together? The legal relationships created between the commodity sale contract, the shipping contract and the insurance market.
  • Voyage chartering: the duty of the carrier to provide a seaworthy ship to be able to carry the cargo.
  • Voyage chartering: When time matters: proceeding with utmost dispatch and without deviation. But what rights and obligations does the carrier have?
