27 July 2018Personal Data Protection Clauses for SHIPMAN, CREWMAN, SUPPLYTIME and GUARDCON are available now. These are additional clauses that can be added to specific BIMCO contracts if parties need wording to cover personal data protection legislation.

The standard is a balanced contractual framework for SEVs that accompany merchant ships in high threat areas such as the Gulf of Guinea which has recently seen a rise in piracy activity as the dry season has begun.

03 February 2021Building on the success of its widely used GUARDCON contract for the employment of security guards on ships, BIMCO is to develop a new standard contract for hiring the services of security escort vessels (SEV).
New contracts and clauses announced for ship sales, security escorts, EEXI transition and Force Majeure
01 December 2021BIMCO’s Documentary Committee adopted two new contracts and two clauses at its meeting on 29 November. The two clauses will be published immediately. The contracts will be published in early January.
