It is widely reported that the cyber threat landscape is worsening for maritime organisations. But how is the threat landscape really developing and what are the most likely scenarios which the industry should be aware of? Norwegian Maritime Cyber Resilience Centre - NORMA Cyber has been operational for three years and has more than 100 member organisations and 2,500 vessels among them. One of the things they do is to monitor the threat landscape on a day-to-day basis for their members and handle cyber-related incidents. In this presentation, Managing Director Lars Benjamin Vold will provide an overview of NORMA Cyber's assessment of the maritime cyber threat landscape and how this is likely to develop in the near future. 6th BIMCO report on Amendments to the IMSBC Code entering into force - re-assignment of bulk cargo shipping names for generic dangerous goods.

BIMCO started reporting from 30 September 2020, a series of articles, informing members of what to expect in the revised International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code (Amendment 05-19), which will come into force on 1 January 2021. This is the 6th article in the series. Today, BIMCO reports on how a Bulk Cargo Shipping name (BCSN) is assigned to generic dangerous goods carried in solid bulk cargo form as a result of Amendment 05-19.
