BIMCO has re-launched its quarterly “Shipping Market Overview & Outlook” with Niels Rasmussen, who joined BIMCO as Chief Shipping Analyst in January this year. Focusing on recent developments, demand drivers, and supply for each of the three main sections of shipping; the bulk market, tanker market and container market, the Q2 2022 overview & outlook was presented by Niels at a series of three webinars on 8 June. Amendment 03-15 to the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code becomes mandatory effective 1 January 2017.
On 21 October 2015, BIMCO held a one-hour long webinar session on the IMSBC Code, highlighting two very relevant issues for members; i.e. on “How to carry bulk cargoes safely – a shared risk?” and “ What is it – identifying cargo hazards under the IMSBC Code”.
