Summer is coming and there are more upcoming Shipping KPI workshops on the horizon. We have planned a number of events at different locations and are looking forward to seeing you there.
Information about these future events along with registration will be announced on the BIMCO homepage and local owner and managers will receive invitations directly.
Role management is a function to manage role and accessibilities within the Shipping KPI system. This function allows account managers to limit some users in their own companies to see just a certain set of SPIs, KPIs, PIs, META data and CUSTOM fields. Furthermore, the function can help users to hide some SPIs, KPIs, PIs, META data or CUSTOM fields that they would not like to see when entering data and benchmarking.
Account manager can access role management by selecting “My Company” as in the picture below. In “My Company” section, account managers can create roles, modify roles and edit permissions for each role.
Role management is a concept to give users or account managers more control when using the Shipping KPIs system. In general, role concept includes four main functions: preconfigured global roles, managing roles, assigning role to users and access requests management.

Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) publish regular Bunker Alerts based entirely on fuel samples and have kindly permitted BIMCO’s Members to access this information.
The Bunker Alerts are not intended to be an evaluation of overall bunker quality in the port or area concerned, but usually highlight a specific parameter within the fuel which has raised a quality issue.
