The single sign on feature for the BIMCO Shipping KPI system will be ready shortly. On 26 February 2018, BIMCO will hold a relaunch event for the BIMCO Shipping KPI in Cyprus.
BIMCO Shipping KPI welcomes in the new year with the expectation that the many changes that will be launched will really help to improve the whole Shipping KPI system and the user experience. As mentioned in the Shipping KPI November news, the single sign on feature has been implemented and will be ready shortly. When the feature is launched, BIMCO members, who already have a Shipping KPI account, will be able to log in automatically to the BIMCO Shipping KPI site when log in on the BIMCO homepage.
BIMCO acquired the shipping KPI system in 2015 and has been working hard to improve the user experience, streamlining the definitions and developing a set core of KPIs while ensuring the highest level of data security.
On 26 February 2018, BIMCO will hold a relaunch event for the BIMCO Shipping KPI in Cyprus, introducing the updated and improved Shipping KPI system. The event is free for registered guests, but you will need to register. Register here: http://bit.ly/2C6Pa7l .
This KPI expresses the company’s ability to avoid health and safety related deficiencies recorded during external inspections and audits.
The KPI counts the number of health and safety related deficiencies including any substandard act, practice or condition (such as misplaced life buoys or fire hoses) recorded during external inspections and audits. The number of deficiencies is then made relative to the total number of external inspections.
KPI015 is measured in 'Deficiencies/Inspection'.
A | Number of health and safety related deficiencies: | = 3 |
B | Number of recorded external inspections: | = 2 |
KPI Value | Health and Safety deficiencies | = A/B = 3/2 = 1.5 |
