6. Mediterranean Bunker Fuel and Shipping Virtual Conference

The overall state of the industry is dominated by the impact of the pandemic. But below the headlines we have seen a lot of different developments in 2020 – What lies ahead for the shipping sector?

2020 was set to be the most challenging year yet for the world of shipping an bunkering, however when the dates were set, no one anticipated it would take place at the same time as a pandemic. The coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent oil price collapse is set to weigh on the global marine fuel industry for the foreseeable future, which could contract by at least 10% year on year, according to industry experts.

In this context, Sand, will participate at the Mediterranean Bunker Fuel and Shipping Virtual Conference on 26 November from 11:35 CET and share his views on the challenges ahead for the commercial shipping markets, focusing on the current developments dominating the markets and the geopolitical factors impacting the global supply chains.
