BIMCO webinar on shipping industry outlook

Overview

BIMCO invites you to join a free webinar discussing the latest outlook for the shipping industry.

BIMCO’s Chief Shipping Analyst Peter Sand will be speaking at the webinar, which will take place on Tuesday 5 September 2017 at 10:00 CET, ending no later than 11:00 CET.

The much anticipated, third quarterly BIMCO Shipping Market Overview & Outlook report for 2017 is released in the final week of August.

During the webinar, Peter Sand will refer to this report and will share BIMCO’s views on the current trends and the outlook for the three main shipping segments which the BIMCO Market Analysis covers: dry bulk, oil tankers and container shipping.

Hear about:

  • Macroeconomics: how improved industrial production is boosting growth rates across the board
  • Dry bulk shipping: how strong demand exceeds rising fleet growth and improves market conditions
  • Tanker shipping: all eyes on the oil market rebalancing – is it happening or not?
  • Container shipping: how solid demand growth is reducing spot rate volatility

You can sign up for the free webinar, by clicking here.

The webinar includes a Q&A session after the presentation.  You are warmly invited to join our discussion on the latest market developments and forecast.

If you can’t make it on the 5 September, catch up online on the BIMCO YouTube channel. Recordings of all recent webinars are available here. Through this site, you can watch all videos from BIMCO and you can subscribe to get prompted when new recordings are available.
