Overview
BIMCO has published SHIPLEASE, a new standard term sheet for sale and leaseback transactions which will be presented at a series of free seminars in the coming months. We will start with two online seminars and, as soon as the situation allows, live networking seminars will be planned in Asia, Europe and USA.
Following a brief introduction of SHIPLEASE, you will meet members of the drafting committee – a lessor, a lessee and a private practice lawyer – who will give their perspective on the new form. We want to make this an engaging event so your questions and comments are very welcome during the seminar.
The online seminars will take place on 8 December at 9.00 (CET) and 9 December at 15.00 (CET). They will last approx. 45 minutes and participants will receive an e-booklet containing a sample copy of SHIPLEASE and explanatory notes in English and Chinese.
