IMDG Code 2018 amendment 39 -18

Overview

Amendment 39-18 will be incorporated into the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG), 2018 Edition, and come into force on 1 January 2020.

The IMDG Code 2018 Edition will be effective for two years once it enters into force and may be applied voluntarily from 1 January 2019. The IMDG Code Supplement, 2018 Edition renders obsolete the previous 2014 edition.

The IMDG Code, 2016 Edition Amendment 38-16 came into force on 1 January 2018 and will remain mandatory for two years until 31 December 2019. 

The IMDG Code can be purchased direct from the IMO publications or from regional/national  distributors of IMO Publications.
