Metal sulphide concentrates


This entry covers refined ores whereby the bulk of waste materials is eliminated, enriching the valuable components of the ores.


Most common sulphide concentrates in this entry are : zinc concentrates, lead concentrates, copper concentrates and low-grade middling concentrates. According to the IMSBC Code, the particle size is generally small even though agglomerates sometimes do exist in concentrates which have not been freshly produced. Bulk density: 1,790 - 3,230 kg/m3.
