Ammonium sulphate

Description
White to brownish grey crystals depending on purity level. Has ammonia odour. Moisture content: 0.04% to 0.5%. Soluble in water. Free flowing. Absorbs moisture. Tends to have natural loss in weight. Non-IMSBC Code information: used as chemical fertilisers, fermentation, fireproofing compositions, tanning, food additive and in the plastic industry.
Trade Names (Synonyms)
Ammonium sulfate - diammonium sulfate - sulfuric acid, diammonium salt - sulphate of Ammonia - standard or granular ammonium sulfate.
