This cargo entry applies to Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles having a moisture content of not more than 13% and oil content of not more than 11%. This is a yellowish brown-in-colour product with a cooked corn odour that is a dried blend of coarse grains and condensed distillers solubles which are the remains from the fermentation process of corn (the starch fraction) with yeast and enzymes to produce ethanol and carbon dioxide. Used as animal feed. Bulk density: 450 -520 kg/m3. This cargo entry does NOT apply to wet distillers grain (WDG) and distillers dried grain (DDG) as they are not transported in bulk. |
