Isopar

Trade name/synonym name

Isopar is the trade name for some ten or more different Exxon cargoes. Please carefully check cargo specification in order to determine Product Name 

The trade names for seven Isopar cargoes will be found in latest edition of MEPC.2/Circ. List 2. Pollution category will be Y or Z, depending on grade. This MEPC.2/Circ. List 2 will refer to the Product Name which shall be used on the shipping document

Some Isopar grades shall be carried as IBC Chapter 17 cargo with Product Name "Olefin mixtures (C5-C15), pollution category X, requiring prewash

Some Isopar grades shall be carried as Naphtha Petroleum, MARPOL Annex I
